Death of the FoxClarksboro, New Jersey
A Death of the Fox Brewing Company room
Where it all began — New Jersey's first craft brewery to also be a coffeehouse, and now a microbrewery and microroastery under one roof at the Villages of Whiskey Mill, just off Exit 18 of I-295. Sixteen taps brewed here, coffee roasted here, on ground that has held a tavern for three centuries.

The Taproom
16 taps, brewed in this building.
Sixteen taps of beer brewed in this building, poured beside coffee roasted in the same room. Blueberry Muffin, Hazy Crazy Diamond, Milky Way Latte Porter, and Cinnamon Toast Pale Ale are the ones you'll hear regulars order by name.

Reviews
What neighbors say about Death of the Fox.
“Coffee in the morning, beer in the afternoon, same building. Sixteen taps and the beeristas actually know what they're pouring.”
“The Milky Way Latte Porter conditioned on their own coffee is unlike anything else in South Jersey. Great live music too.”
“Historic spot with real character and friendly staff. Packed on Friday nights, so grab a table early.”

Good to know
Questions about Death of the Fox
Parking, how this location differs from the other two, and what to expect when you walk in. Answers below are specific to Clarksboro.
Where do I park?
Free, well-lit parking in the lot at the Villages of Whiskey Mill, right outside the door at 119 Berkley Road, Unit B — just off Exit 18 of I-295. Busy Friday and Saturday nights fill the front row first; there's overflow around the building.
How is Clarksboro different from the other two locations?
This is the flagship — the only one of the three with a brewery. Sixteen taps of beer are brewed in this building and coffee is roasted in the same room, so it runs from a 7am espresso through an evening pour. Glassboro and Carneys Point are coffee only.
Is the menu the same as the coffee locations?
The espresso bar, signature lattes, and whole-bean coffee carry over. What's unique here is the beer: the live tap list is always current on the embedded Untappd menu on this page, plus taproom snacks. Order online through the Clarksboro link — each location has its own.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes — we're a bring-your-own-food taproom. Bring it in or have it delivered; we'll pour and provide the table. Soft pretzels and snack boards are available if you'd rather not.
What should I expect when I walk in?
Order at the bar, then grab a table inside or out. Mornings feel like a coffeehouse; evenings feel like a taproom. Live music most weekends, family friendly, and dogs are welcome on the patio.
Do you take reservations or host private events?
Walk-ins for everyday visits. For groups, the taproom (up to 90) and the brewhouse side (up to 40) can be booked — send a request from the events page. You can also take the 360° virtual tour on this page before you come.
How the three fit together
Three separate places.
One family behind them.
These are three distinct addresses in South Jersey — not three areas of one building. Each has its own street address, its own hours, its own staff, and its own online ordering. You visit one at a time.
What they share is ownership and supply: Death of the Fox Brewing Company roasts the coffee and brews the beer, and the same espresso bar and whole-bean lineup runs through all three. Beyond that, each location has a menu built for its own neighborhood — so a brunch plate or a beer may only exist at one of them.
Pick the location closest to you, then order from that location's link so your order is made in the right kitchen.
